Luxair, founded in 1961, is Luxembourg’s flag carrier and a full‑service regional airline focused on short‑ and medium‑haul European routes. Advantages include generally attentive onboard and ground service, a convenient Luxembourg hub, steady punctuality and a solid safety record. Disadvantages are a limited route network and frequencies, higher fares versus low‑cost competitors, and a relatively small fleet that can constrain capacity during disruptions. It is not a low‑cost carrier and does not currently hold a public Skytrax rating.
