Baggage Rules of Grand China Air

Luggage
Grand China Air allows all passengers to check-in a certain weight of baggage free of charge. The maximum weight allowed for economy class passengers is 20 kilograms, while business class passengers may check-in up to 30 kilograms. Any excess baggage will be charged according to the airline's policy. Overweight baggage is considered when luggage exceeds 32 kg and oversized baggage are any bags that have a total dimension (length + width + height) of over 203 cm.
Hand Baggage
For economy class passengers, a hand baggage allowance of one piece weighing up to 5 kilograms is permitted with a maximum dimension of 45cm x 35cm x 20cm. For business class, the hand baggage allowance is increased to two pieces weighing 8 kilograms in total with a maximum dimension of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm.
Excess/Overweight Baggage
Excess/Overweight baggage fees are charged based on the number of pieces and/or the weight of the baggage. For example, if a passenger's checked baggage exceeds the allowed weight by 1-5 kg (inclusive), they will be charged CNY 100 per kg. Travelers who wish to check in bags that exceed the maximum weight or dimensions, or any additional bags may pay an additional fee at the airport.
Items Prohibited for Carriage
Grand China Air has a list of prohibited items which should not be carried on board the aircraft at any time. Some common items include any sharp objects, explosives or flammable substances, poisonous or toxic gases, and lithium batteries.
