Osubi Airport, serving Warri and the Delta State oil hub, opened in the late 1970s and operates from a single compact passenger terminal that handles mostly domestic traffic and industry charters. As a small but strategically important regional airport for the Niger Delta, it provides regular links to Lagos, Abuja and other Nigerian cities and sits roughly 10–15 km (20–30 minutes) from central Warri via well‑traveled roadways; taxis, shared shuttles and car hire are the usual connections. Fares are generally affordable for domestic travelers, though prices can rise during peak oil‑industry demand. The airport is popular with domestic carriers such as Air Peace and Azman Air and remains a key base for charter operators serving energy companies.
