Valencia Airport, opened in 1933 and located in the town of Manises just west of the city, is the main gateway to Spain’s Valencian Community and operates from one main passenger terminal serving both domestic and international routes. Compact but busy, it offers quick access to central Valencia by Metro (lines 3 and 5), regular airport buses, taxis and the A‑3 road, making it easy for travelers to reach the city, beaches and business districts. Known for strong low-cost carrier traffic, it’s generally more affordable than larger hubs, with carriers such as Vueling and Ryanair maintaining significant operations here.
