Alicante-Elche Airport

Alicante-Elche Airport, opened in 1967, operates two passenger terminals and is the main gateway to Spain’s Costa Blanca, ranking among the country’s busiest regional airports. Serving millions of travelers each year, it offers a compact but well-equipped layout for holidaymakers and business visitors alike. Located roughly 9–10 km southwest of Alicante and a short drive from Elche, the airport is linked by regular shuttle buses and regional coaches to the city center, Benidorm and major rail stations, with plentiful taxis, car hire and quick access to the AP-7 motorway. Generally affordable due to strong low-cost competition, ALC is a key base for Ryanair and easyJet and hosts numerous Vueling and Iberia connections.
