Jixi Airport

Jixi Airport (JXA), also known locally as Jixi Xingkaihu Airport, opened around 2009 and operates a single terminal serving southeastern Heilongjiang. As a compact regional airport, it handles mostly domestic flights and acts as an important gateway for travelers visiting Jixi and nearby border areas, but it is not a major airline hub. The airport is easily reachable by road with regular airport shuttles, taxis and local buses connecting to Jixi city center in a short drive, making transfers simple for budget-conscious travelers. Flights are generally priced affordably compared with China’s larger hubs, and carriers include China Eastern and other domestic/regional airlines.
