Gaziantep Airport

Gaziantep Airport, locally known as Oğuzeli Airport, opened in the 1970s and today operates from one main passenger terminal serving a busy regional catchment in southeastern Turkey. Medium in size but strategically important for industry and trade, it handles a steady mix of domestic and seasonal international flights and is a convenient gateway to Gaziantep and nearby cities. The airport sits roughly 20–30 km from the city center and is reachable by shuttle and regional buses, taxis and car rental; there’s no metro link yet. Generally seen as affordable for budget-minded travelers—especially on domestic routes—it hosts frequent services from Turkish Airlines, AnadoluJet and Pegasus.
