Elazig Airport

Elazığ Airport, originally opened in the 1940s, is a compact regional airport with a single terminal serving Elazığ and the surrounding Eastern Anatolia region; it functions as an important gateway to nearby Harput hill and the Keban Dam area. The airport handles mainly domestic services and seasonal charters, with regular flights operated by Turkish Airlines and its AnadoluJet arm alongside budget carriers on busy routes. Located a short drive from Elazığ city center, travelers can reach downtown by shuttle bus, taxi or rental car in roughly 15–25 minutes, making connections simple. For most travelers it’s a budget-friendly airport compared with Turkey’s larger hubs.
