Gainesville Regional Airport

Opened in the 1940s, Gainesville Regional Airport is a compact single-terminal airport serving Gainesville and the University of Florida as North Central Florida’s main regional gateway. The one main terminal has a handful of gates and focuses on short-haul domestic connections operated by American Eagle, Delta Connection and United Express, along with occasional seasonal low-cost services; it isn’t a major hub but provides convenient links to larger hubs.
