Bohol–Panglao International Airport (TAG) opened in 2018 as a modern replacement for Tagbilaran Airport and features a single passenger terminal designed for fast tourist flows; it’s the primary gateway to Panglao’s beaches and Bohol’s Chocolate Hills. The compact but busy airport handles domestic and some seasonal international flights and is reachable by road from Tagbilaran and Panglao in roughly 20–40 minutes via taxis, shared vans or hotel shuttles, with car rental widely available. Not a major hub, TAG is well served by carriers such as Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines/PAL Express and AirAsia, and is generally considered an affordable option thanks to frequent low-cost services.
