Andizhan Airport

Andizhan Airport, opened in the Soviet era (mid-20th century, 1950s–60s), is a small regional gateway serving the city of Andijan and the wider Fergana Valley. The airport has a single modest passenger terminal and handles primarily domestic and occasional regional international flights, making it an important local link rather than a major hub. Located roughly 10–15 km from Andijan city center, it’s easily reached by road via taxis, shared marshrutkas and regional buses; rail connections are available from the city. Flights are typically budget-friendly compared with larger Uzbek airports, and the airport is mainly served by Uzbekistan Airways and smaller regional carriers.
