Osh Airport

Osh Airport (OSS), opened in the 1930s, is the main gateway to southern Kyrgyzstan with a single passenger terminal serving a compact but busy regional hub. The airport handles regular domestic flights to Bishkek and seasonal international services, making it an important link for trade and tourism in the Fergana Valley. Located just a short drive from downtown Osh, it’s easily reached by taxi, shared minibus (marshrutka) and local buses, with road connections toward Jalal-Abad and the Uzbek border. Travelers generally find fares and on-site costs modest compared with larger hubs, and the airport functions as a regional base for local carriers such as TezJet and other Kyrgyz operators.
