Founded in 2001, Safarilink Aviation is a Kenyan regional carrier operating scheduled and charter flights to coastal and inland safari airstrips. Advantages include a focused domestic route network linking Nairobi, Mombasa and key safari destinations, access to remote airstrips with small turboprops, safari-focused service and generally competitive fares. Disadvantages include a limited international network, modest onboard comfort, a small fleet that can cause capacity constraints and occasional delays, and variable punctuality. Useful for tourists and regional travelers; less suited to business flyers seeking frequent schedules and premium lounges. It operates as a regional/low-cost hybrid rather than a premium carrier and does not have a widely published Skytrax rating.
