Hellas Jet was founded in 2003 as a Greek scheduled and charter carrier and marketed itself as a full-service, higher-comfort alternative to regional low-cost airlines. Advantages included relatively comfortable cabins and focused business and leisure routes from Athens with competitive fares on select sectors. Disadvantages were a small fleet and limited network, exposure to Greece's economic volatility, and occasional reliability and frequency constraints. It was not a low-cost carrier, and no formal Skytrax rating is recorded. Operations were suspended in 2010.
