Founded in 2007, Bahrain Air was a privately owned Bahraini carrier that operated regional services from Bahrain International Airport until ceasing operations in 2013. Advantages included competitive fares versus larger Gulf rivals, a relatively young Airbus A320 fleet, two-class cabins and generally attentive in-flight service; punctuality on short regional sectors was often acceptable. Disadvantages were a limited route network, a small fleet that constrained schedule resilience, and financial/government disputes that undermined stability. It positioned itself as a full-service regional operator rather than a low-cost carrier. No Skytrax rating is recorded.
