Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport

Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO) opened in 1997 and today operates two main passenger terminals, serving as one of central China’s largest civil aviation and air‑cargo hubs. Located roughly 35–40 km southeast of downtown Zhengzhou, the airport is well connected by the Zhengzhou–Xinzheng intercity rail and metro links, frequent airport shuttle buses, taxis and expressways that reach the city’s high‑speed rail stations in 20–40 minutes. Known for a busy e‑commerce cargo base—home to major logistics operations—it also functions as a regional passenger focus point for several Chinese carriers. Overall fares and on‑site services tend to be mid‑range to affordable compared with larger coastal hubs.
