Yuzhny Airport

Yuzhny Airport, the main international gateway for Tashkent, opened in the early 1960s and today operates with two main passenger terminals handling domestic and international flights. As Uzbekistan’s largest airport, it plays a key regional role and is the primary hub for Uzbekistan Airways while also serving several regional carriers. Located roughly 10–15 km from central Tashkent, the airport is well connected by taxis, buses and hotel shuttles, with ongoing local transport improvements making access easier.
