Yola Airport

Yola Airport, serving Adamawa State and the twin towns of Yola and Jimeta, opened in the mid-20th century (1960s) and operates a single small terminal handling primarily domestic flights. As a compact regional gateway it’s important for connections to Abuja, Lagos and northeastern Nigeria, with regular services from carriers such as Air Peace and Azman Air; it is not a major international hub. Ground access is straightforward—a short 20–30 minute drive to central Yola with taxis and shared shuttles available, though public bus options are limited. For budget-conscious travelers the airport is generally affordable, offering basic services and competitive domestic fares.
