Yeosu Airport

Yeosu Airport opened in 1972 and remains a compact, one-terminal regional airport serving the coastal city of Yeosu and the southern Jeolla province. As a small but important gateway to popular spots like Odongdo and the Yeosu archipelago, it handles mainly domestic flights and is frequented by legacy carriers and low-cost airlines such as Korean Air, Asiana, Jeju Air and T’way. Ground access is straightforward with regular buses and taxis to Yeosu city center and a short drive to Yeosu Expo KTX station for high-speed rail connections. With modest passenger facilities and primarily short-haul routes, fares tend to be affordable for domestic travelers.
