Tenerife North Airport, opened in the early 1930s, is a compact but important regional gateway on the northern coast of Tenerife with a single main passenger terminal serving domestic, inter-island and short-haul European routes. Located just outside San Cristóbal de La Laguna and a short drive from Santa Cruz, the airport is well connected by the TF-5 motorway, regular bus links and taxis, making it convenient for visitors exploring the historic town, Anaga rural park and northern resorts.
