Taif Airport

Taif Airport (TIF), opened in the 1970s, is a compact regional airport with one main passenger terminal (alongside military facilities) that serves Taif and seasonal pilgrim traffic to nearby holy cities. As a medium-sized airport it plays an important role for regional connectivity rather than long-haul travel, with regular flights operated by Saudi carriers such as Saudia and low-cost airline flynas plus seasonal charters. The airport is easily reached by road — a short 30–40 minute drive from Taif city center — with taxis, shuttle buses and car hire options; fares tend to be affordable thanks to budget routes and regional competition.
