Samos Airport

Opened in the 1970s, Samos Airport (Aristarchos of Samos) is a compact regional gateway with a single terminal and one runway, handling domestic services to Athens and a surge of seasonal international charters. Despite its small size, the airport is the island’s main entry point for visitors to Pythagorio and Karlovassi, with taxis, car rentals, local buses and summer shuttle services providing easy transfers to main towns and ferry ports. On-site prices are generally budget-to-midrange, though fares and transfer costs climb in high season. Aegean and Olympic Air operate regular scheduled flights, while a variety of charter carriers serve Samos in summer.
