Rhodes International “Diagoras” Airport opened in 1977 and operates with two main passenger terminals, handling heavy summer traffic as the primary gateway to the island of Rhodes and the Dodecanese. Medium-sized but busy in peak season, it’s about 14 km southwest of Rhodes town and is well connected by regular KTEL buses, taxis, car hire and shuttle transfers to the city, Lindos and nearby ferry ports.
