Fort Collins–Loveland Municipal Airport (IATA: FNL) is a small regional airport that opened in the 1960s and serves northern Colorado communities around Fort Collins and Loveland. With a single compact terminal and a handful of hangars, FNL functions primarily as a general aviation and corporate-reliever field rather than a major commercial hub, making it ideal for private charters, flight training and business travel. It’s a short 10–20 minute drive to downtown Loveland or Fort Collins and links to I-25 and US‑287; local bus options are limited but taxis and rideshares are readily available. FNL is generally cost‑effective for private and charter users and does not host major airline hubs, instead supporting several local charter and FBO operators.
