Milas-Bodrum Airport opened in 1997 and operates from one main terminal with separate domestic and international wings, serving as the primary gateway to Bodrum’s resort peninsula and nearby Milas. This mid-sized international airport handles heavy seasonal traffic, especially charter and European flights, and is a convenient entry for beachgoers and holidaymakers. It’s about a 30–40 minute drive to Bodrum and closer to Milas, with regular shuttle buses, local buses, taxis and car hire linking the airport to coastal towns and resorts. Generally considered affordable thanks to many low-cost and charter options, it functions as a seasonal base for Turkish Airlines, Pegasus and SunExpress alongside numerous European carriers.
