Kandla

Kandla Airport, serving Gandhidham and the Kutch region, opened in the 1950s and operates from a single small terminal that handles regional traffic and charter flights. As a compact, regional airport it’s an important gateway for cargo, industry and tourism to nearby ports and the Rann of Kutch, with road links and frequent taxis and buses to Gandhidham and Kandla (roughly 10–15 km), plus rail connections at Gandhidham Junction. Not a major airline hub, it’s typically served by low-cost and domestic carriers such as IndiGo and occasional regional services, and fares are generally affordable compared with metro airports, though options can be limited during off-peak periods.
