Jos Airport

Jos Airport, officially Yakubu Gowon Airport, is a compact regional airport in Plateau State that was established in the 1970s and operates from a single small passenger terminal, handling mainly domestic services. Serving the city of Jos and the scenic Jos Plateau, the airport is an important link for business travelers and tourists visiting the cooler highlands; it sits roughly a 10–15 minute drive from the city center with taxis, private transfers and occasional shuttle services the primary connections. Not a major hub, it is regularly served by Nigerian carriers such as Air Peace, Azman Air and Overland Airways, and is generally considered an affordable option for domestic flights with modest on-site costs and easy, short transfers into town.
