Graz Airport opened in 1913 and today operates from a single passenger terminal, serving as the key regional gateway to Styria and southern Austria. Compact but busy, the airport handles scheduled and seasonal routes that connect Graz to major European cities, making it a convenient alternative to larger hubs. Ground links are straightforward: a regular airport shuttle bus and regional buses to Graz city center (about 10–15 km), good motorway access via the A2, and connections to rail at nearby stations. Generally budget-friendly with regular low-cost and legacy carrier services—Austrian Airlines, Eurowings and several discount carriers operate here—though it’s not a major international hub.
