Dipolog Airport

Dipolog Airport (DPL) opened in the 1960s and operates a single small passenger terminal serving Dipolog City and the province of Zamboanga del Norte; it’s a compact regional gateway handling mainly domestic flights that link northern Mindanao with Manila and Cebu. Sitting just a short drive—typically 10–15 minutes—from the city center, the airport is easily reached by taxi, tricycle and shared shuttle, with road connections onward to nearby Dapitan and ferry links for island hopping. Not a major airline hub, Dipolog is regularly served by carriers such as Philippine Airlines/PAL Express and Cebu Pacific, and is generally considered an affordable option for budget-minded travelers.
