Con Dao

Con Dao Airport opened in the 1970s and was further modernized in the 2010s; this compact island airport has a single small passenger terminal and handles mainly domestic services, acting as the key gateway to Con Son and Con Dao National Park. As a regional facility, it’s important for tourism but not a major aviation hub — regular flights arrive from Ho Chi Minh City and other Vietnamese cities operated by Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo Airways and Vietjet Air. Ground access is simple: a short drive or taxi ride connects the strip to Côn Sơn town, with local shuttles and motorbike rentals available; due to limited capacity and island demand, fares can be pricier than mainland routes.
