Changle International Airport

Fuzhou Changle International Airport opened in 1997 and today operates with two main terminals, serving as the primary international gateway for Fujian province. Mid-sized but strategically important, Changle handles a mix of domestic and regional international flights and is located in Changle District about 50 km east of downtown Fuzhou. Travelers can reach the city by airport expressway, regular shuttle buses, taxis and regional coach services in roughly 45–60 minutes depending on traffic. The airport is generally affordable, with several budget carriers and reasonable ground-transport fares, and functions as a regional hub/focus city for XiamenAir and a busy base for other Chinese carriers.
