Bejaia Airport

Bejaia – Soummam Abane Ramdane Airport (IATA: BJA), opened in the early 1980s, is a compact regional airport serving Béjaïa and the Kabylia coast of northern Algeria. With a single passenger terminal and modest facilities, BJA acts as an important local gateway for domestic flights and seasonal international charters rather than a major hub. The airport is located roughly 20–30 km from Béjaïa city center and is best reached by car, taxi or occasional shuttle services, as regular public-transport links are limited. On-site costs and average fares tend to be more budget-friendly than larger North African or European hubs, and Air Algérie together with regional carriers and summer charters provide the bulk of services.
