Anshan Teng'ao Airport, originally established as a military airfield in the mid-20th century and later opened to civilian flights, is a compact regional airport serving Anshan and central Liaoning; it operates from a single small passenger terminal and handles mainly domestic connections and occasional charters. Positioned roughly 15–20 km from Anshan city center near the Teng'ao area, the airport is reachable by taxi, airport shuttle and local buses in about 30–40 minutes, with convenient road links toward Shenyang and other regional cities.
