Al Ain Airport

Al Ain Airport, opened in the 1970s, is a compact regional international airport with a single passenger terminal serving the city of Al Ain and the eastern region of Abu Dhabi emirate. As a smaller alternative to Abu Dhabi International, it handles scheduled regional services, charters, cargo and general aviation, and is a base for regional carriers such as Rotana Jet and several private operators. Well connected by road to Abu Dhabi and Dubai with regular buses, taxis and private shuttles, it’s convenient for travelers heading to the city or nearby desert resorts. With generally lower fees and fewer crowds, Al Ain is often a more affordable option for budget-conscious flyers.
