Agri Airport

Agri Airport, officially Ağrı Ahmed-i Hani Airport, opened in the late 1990s and operates from a single compact terminal that handles regional and domestic traffic; it’s the main air gateway to Ağrı Province and popular for visitors heading to Mount Ararat and the Turkish–Iran border area. The airport is modest in size but important locally, sitting roughly 10–15 km from Ağrı city with taxis, shared airport shuttles and regular regional coach links making transfers straightforward. Flights are typically competitively priced compared with major Turkish hubs, and the airport is served by domestic carriers such as Turkish Airlines and AnadoluJet, plus occasional seasonal or charter services.
