Yamal Airlines has its own baggage rules which apply on all its flight routes. Here are the luggage policies of the company:
Luggage:
Passengers can check-in baggage up to 23 kg in weight and the overall dimensions of the luggage should not exceed 203 cm. It is advised that passengers should not pack any fragile or valuable items in the checked baggage as the airlines shall not be held responsible for such items.
Hand Baggage:
Yamal Airlines allows passengers to carry one piece of cabin baggage on board which should not exceed 5 kg in weight and dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm. The airlines also allows passengers to take a personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag or camera bag, but should not exceed dimensions of 45 x 35 x 15 cm.
Excess/Overweight Baggage:
If a passenger’s checked baggage exceeds luggage allowance the company allows the passenger to purchase additional allowance at the airport at the current rate set by the company. Passengers without pre-paid excess weight will be charged for this on board. Any luggage over 32 kg will not be accepted.
Prohibited Items:
The company prohibits the carriage of dangerous items such as explosives, flammable substances, toxic or radioactive materials, magnetic, corrosive or metallic materials, and items with offensive or irritating odor.
