Air Algérie, founded in 1947, is Algeria’s state-owned flag carrier. It operates an extensive domestic network and connects major Algerian cities with destinations across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, providing full-service economy and limited business-class options rather than a low-cost model. Strengths include broad domestic coverage, strategic international links and generally competitive fares; weaknesses are variable onboard service quality, inconsistent punctuality and occasional operational disruptions.
