Zurich Airport

Zurich Airport (ZRH), opened in 1948, is Switzerland’s largest international airport and a compact but busy hub with roughly three passenger terminals (A, B and E) serving millions of travelers each year. Strategically located just north of Zurich, it offers fast rail and frequent S-Bahn and regional train services to Zurich main station in around 10–15 minutes, plus bus and tram links to surrounding towns and direct connections across Europe. Known for efficient facilities and high safety standards, ZRH tends to be on the pricier side for dining and parking. It is the primary hub for Swiss International Air Lines and also serves as a base for carriers like Edelweiss and easyJet Switzerland.
