Yellowstone Regional Airport opened in the 1960s and operates from a single modest terminal, serving as the primary air gateway to Cody and the eastern entrances of Yellowstone National Park. This small but busy regional airport handles scheduled regional jets, charters and general aviation, and is an important convenience for visitors to Yellowstone and the Bighorn Basin. It’s roughly a 10–20 minute drive from downtown Cody with limited public transit but easy access to rental cars, shuttles and regional roads. Fares can be higher than at major hubs due to limited service, and the airport is mainly served by regional affiliates of United and Delta with seasonal charters.
