Vinh Airport

Vinh Airport, serving Vinh city and Nghệ An province in north-central Vietnam, was originally opened in the 1950s and has been expanded to handle growing regional traffic; it operates from a single main passenger terminal and functions as a medium-sized regional gateway. Located roughly a 10- to 20-minute drive from the city center via National Road 1A, the airport is well connected by local buses, shuttle services and taxis, making it convenient for travelers heading to nearby beaches and cultural attractions. Generally friendly to budget flyers, Vinh sees regular service from Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air and Bamboo Airways, with Bamboo maintaining a notable regional presence.
