This compact airport handles domestic flights and seasonal charter services, linking Tefé with larger hubs like Manaus and offering onward river connections; ground access includes local taxis, limited bus links and frequent boat services to riverside settlements. Not a major airline hub, it’s primarily served by Azul and smaller regional carriers, and is generally considered more affordable than big-city airports, though remote-route fares can be higher.
