Tasiujuaq Airport

Tasiujuaq Airport, established in the late 1970s, is a compact regional airfield with a single small terminal that serves the remote Inuit community on Quebec’s northern coast. Modest in size but vital in importance, the airport handles passenger services, cargo and medevac flights and links the village to larger regional hubs via scheduled and charter connections. A short access road connects the runway to the settlement—there’s no formal public transit, so travelers typically rely on taxis or walking—while most flights operate with regional carriers such as Air Inuit and local charter operators. Because of its remote location, fares tend to be higher than southern routes, though occasional deals appear through multi-leg bookings.
