Seletar

Seletar Airport, opened as an RAF airfield in 1928, is Singapore’s compact secondary airport with a single small passenger terminal and extensive general-aviation facilities. Smaller than Changi but strategically important for regional turboprops, business jets and pilot training, Seletar serves as a convenient alternative for short-haul and charter services. Located in Singapore’s northeast about 15–20 km from the CBD, it’s reachable by taxi, car via the CTE/SLE and several public bus routes (no direct MRT link). Travelers generally find scheduled regional fares affordable, while private and business-aviation services are naturally pricier; it functions more as a base for corporate operators and flight schools than for major airlines.
