Rennes Airport (RNS), officially Rennes–Saint-Jacques, opened in the 1930s (1933) and operates from a single main terminal that keeps connections simple for travelers. As the principal air gateway to Brittany, this compact regional airport handles domestic and short-haul European routes and is an easy option for finding cheap flights to Paris, the UK, and southern Europe. Located about 6–8 km southwest of Rennes city centre, it’s well served by regular shuttle buses to Gare de Rennes (TGV), taxis and good road links, making onward travel straightforward.
