Qiqihar Airport

Qiqihar Airport, opened in the early 1970s, is a compact regional airport with a single passenger terminal serving Heilongjiang’s second-largest city; it handles mainly domestic routes and plays an important role for travelers heading to the region’s parks and industry. Located roughly 15–20 km from downtown Qiqihar, the airport is reachable by airport shuttle buses, taxis and private car, with easy onward connections to Qiqihar’s rail stations for high-speed and conventional trains. Generally regarded as affordable for domestic travel, Qiqihar sees frequent service from Air China, China Eastern, Shandong Airlines and several low-cost carriers, though it is not a major airline hub.
