Phitsanulok Airport

Phitsanulok Airport, opened in the 1990s, is a compact regional airport with a single passenger terminal serving Phitsanulok province and nearby Sukhothai heritage sites. Modest in size but important for northern Thailand travel, it handles frequent domestic flights primarily to Bangkok and other regional destinations. The airport sits roughly 8 km from the city center, easily reached by taxis, local buses and rental cars, with the main railway station a short drive away. Generally regarded as an affordable airport for travelers, it’s served by carriers such as Nok Air, Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air rather than acting as a major hub.
