Perm International Airport

Perm International Airport (PEE), also known as Bolshoye Savino, opened in the 1960s and operates from one main passenger terminal with separate domestic and international halls. As the primary gateway to Perm and Perm Krai in the western Urals, it’s a mid-sized regional airport handling domestic routes and seasonal international flights, making it a practical choice when searching for cheap flights to the area. Located roughly 16 km from downtown Perm (about a 20–30 minute drive), the airport is well connected by regular buses, shared shuttles and taxis. It’s generally considered affordable for travelers and is regularly served by Russian carriers such as Aeroflot, S7, Pobeda and Ural Airlines, plus smaller regional operators.
