Pecs Pogany

Pécs–Pogány Airport (PEV) serves southern Hungary’s cultural city of Pécs from a compact, regional airfield originally opened in the 1930s and modernized in later decades; the airport operates a single small passenger terminal and a modest apron that handles mainly seasonal charters, regional flights and general aviation. Located about 6 km southeast of Pécs in Baranya County, it’s easily reached by car, local bus and taxis from the city center and makes a convenient gateway to the Mecsek Hills and wine regions. Not a hub for major carriers, it’s occasionally served by low-cost and charter airlines, and is generally considered budget-friendly with limited retail and parking costs.
