Palana

Palana Airport (IATA: ПАН) is a small regional airfield on Kamchatka’s western coast, originally built in the Soviet era and opened in the 1960s. With a single modest terminal, it serves as the main aviation link for Palana and the surrounding Koryak Okrug settlements rather than a major hub. Scheduled connections—primarily to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky—are operated by Aurora and a handful of local carriers, with ground access limited to short taxi or bus rides into town and few all-season roads. Flights to this remote airport are often pricier than other domestic routes, though on-site costs remain modest.
