Ogle Airport

Ogle Airport, officially renamed Eugene F. Correia International Airport in 2016, began life as a small airstrip in the mid-20th century (opened in the 1950s) and today operates a single compact terminal handling regional and short international services. Located roughly 8–10 km northeast of Georgetown, it’s easily reached by road with regular taxis and shuttle connections into the capital, making it a convenient alternative to Cheddi Jagan for quick hops. Ogle is an important gateway for domestic and Guyana–Caribbean links and serves as a base for local carriers such as Trans Guyana Airways and other regional operators; fares tend to be affordable for budget-minded travelers.
